8 Springfield 6th. graders participated in the Extreme Math Day. There were a total of 20 teams from the Omaha Metro area competing at this event. The following boys did a great job in representing Springfield Elementary and held their own in a field of primarily junior high students: Keegan Kulm, Reece Cloyd, Brady Heiman, Braden Hawley, Jacob Romsa, Josh Kotrous, Nate Thayer, and Bennett Slater.
Our very own Reece Cloyd earned 1st. place ( out of 111 students!!) in both  of the individual events, the buzzer round, and the sprint round.
